Work brought me back to the Big Apple today!
For lunch my colleague and I decided to eat at Mulberry and Vine for lunch, mainly because one of the owners is a supporter of ours. We weren’t disappointed!
According to its website their mantra is “eat local, cook global”. All the food served at Mulberry and Vine is local, seasonal, organic, pesticide-free, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free.
Located in Tribeca, the restaurant is a casual cafe that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My colleague and I decided to each choose three different small plates and then we would share everything.
She choose to get the beets, red chili flakes, pomegranate cilantro, the curried freekah, cauliflower, mango, cashews and the sesame soba noodles, snow peas, and carrots.
I chose to get the kale, pickled onions, chia seeds, the turkey meatballs, garam masala, ginger, jalapeño and the quinoa, kale, eggs, feta, dill, cumin, and chives.
I will definitely come back here when I need a quick, but delicious and nutritious meal. 🙂
