Getting Busy in the Kitchen!

Hi folks and happy Thursday!

This morning I continued my testing out morning commute departure times and work out times. To be fair, I have actually developed a pretty stable routine thus far to incorporate working out (mostly) in the mornings like I want to. If I am not working out in the morning prior to going to work, I leave my house at 7:00am. If I am working out in the morning before work I leave my house at 6:00am.  Either departure time has me waking up at 5:00am. Good thing I am a morning person. 🙂

Today I left my house at 6:00am and went straight into work and worked out at the gym in my office building. I was curious to see how timing would be getting to the office, parking in the garage across the street, working out, and then changing and getting ready for work. The timing worked perfectly! I think this will definitely be one of my choices for working out in the morning – others include going to Vida for a group class or to my old condo and running around my old neighborhood and then showering and getting ready at my mom’s condo.

Thus far, I have worked out every single morning of this week. I’m hoping to successfully end the week with tomorrow’s workout – a yoga class at Vida in the morning. Here’s to hoping!

Some other things I am hoping to do include making these delicious sounding recipes in my kitchen very soon:

1) Brussels Sprout, Bacon, and Gruyere Frittata

2) No Bake Breakfast Bars

3) Best Ever Creamy Macaroni Salad

4) Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers

5) Fish Tacos with Lime-Cilantro Crema

Any recipes you can’t wait to try out?
