Brunching at Medium Rare

Thank you Jessica and Stephen for introducing Tommy and me to Medium Rare on Barrack Rows (8th Street), particularly their Sunday brunch.

Take a look:

That’s right, for $23 you can get all the Mimosas, Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers, oj, and coffee you want + a fruit salad, yogurt parfait, or a salad + an endless bread basket + a steak-inspired breakfast entree. Not too shabby. The food was also really good. Always the food (size) critic, Tommy commented that his steak portion of the Streak and Frites could have been a tad bigger…

In addition to ordering a Mimosa and a cup of coffee I decided to order the fruit salad to start.

A delicious bread basket kept getting refilled and refilled at Stephen’s request.

For my breakfast entree I decided to order the Medium Rare’s Egg Benedict. The eggs came on a piece of sourdough bread which was an interesting (and good) take. The frites were so good.

Thumbs up Medium Rare. The kicker is this would be the perfect place to take a large group because of it’s price fix. No fuss dealing with the bill at the end of brunch! Thanks for the suggestion Jessica and Stephen!
