Let it Go

Today’s weather was glorious. High 60s. I’ll take it. And it seems like everyone else did too.

Chesapeake Beach surely was busy today – maybe a preview of what summer will bring. Teens, families, and joggers were out on the boardwalk, grabbing dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurant choices, dogs were running in and out of the water at the beach.

I went for a 9 mile run as part of my 10-mile run training program, which really hasn’t been going according to plan with travel and things that have just come up. So I was glad to have been able to get this run in.  I have not run 9 miles straight in awhile and it felt good to run it out and let it go.

I may be a little MIA for a few days. Things kind of blew up last week. Violet isn’t better and we don’t know why. I may have to take her back to the vet to get an ultrasound on Wednesday.

And we, but Tommy especially, got even more bad news on Friday. His dad was suddenly admitted to the ICU. He was finally released out of the ICU today, but he has a long way to go in terms of recovery. So things/plans have been totally thrown up in the air for now.

Prayers, thoughts, vibes are appreciated. I’ll be back soon!
