Smokey Joe’s Cafe

I had a busy little Friday night after work!

I met my friend Arlene and some of her co-workers for happy hour at McCormick and Schmick’s near both of our offices. If you didn’t know, they do a very good happy hour. Arlene and I ordered a couple rounds of delicious Zinfandel and some apps (of course) that included fried calamari, french fries, and chicken sliders. Sooo healthy… Continue reading

Audio Book Fan?

Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone’s day is going well. It’s almost Friday!

Moving out of the city has certainly given me more time in the car, as I drive to and from D.C. for work. Always one to make the most of my time I found ways to utilize my time spent in the car – catching up on the phone with friends and family, day dreaming, thinking about things, listening to music on satellite radio….and most recently listening to an audio book. Tuesday Tidbits Easter Edition – 75

I hope everyone (who celebrates it) had a wonderful Easter Weekend! I certainly did – the entire weekend was just great. You already know what our plans were on Friday and you’ll see what we did on Saturday tomorrow. (Sorry things are a bit backward!)

On Sunday, while Tommy helped a couple of our friends move, mom and I were making things happen in the kitchen! Easter dinner was set for 4:00pm and we had tons of things to make. In addition to Tommy, mom and myself, we had two friends and their dog joining us for the holiday meal. Continue reading
