Hope everyone had a great weekend and hoping many of you have a short work week with July 4th coming up this Friday. 🙂
Tommy and I ran 11 miles yesterday morning and we are both still a little sore and tired from that this morning. It was a little hard to wake up… I’m hoping a Zumba class I’m taking this evening will help stretch and sooth my muscles a little bit.

I bet everyone is ready for the weekend, I know I am. I’m looking forward to running errands and doing things around the house tomorrow and then on Sunday I have an 11 mile run ahead of me, then I’ll be seeing a museum exhibit at the National Gallery of Art with my mom, and then meeting up with a sorority sister for a drink.

Any soccer fans out there? It’s almost time to see if Team USA can advance to the second round in the World Cup. Fingers crossed. I know a lot of people who will be watching the game at bars across the country. My office will actually have the game turned on in several of our conference rooms, but sadly I’m not sure how much of the actual game I’ll get to see.
