Dreaming of Paris

Happy Monday!

While I have not been back to Paris in many years, I came to the closest thing yesterday – brunch at Le Diplomate with my friend Katie.

Always a good dining choice, never disappointed.

It was a brisk, chilly, fall day. Luckily we were seated in the terrace where reams of plastic shielded us from the wind.

We started with a delicious complimentary bread basket (not pictured).

Followed by a few rounds of lattes – two for Katie, one for me.

She began lunch with a salad, while I opted for a bowl of fresh berries.

We each decided to go with our standby Le Diplomate favorites for our entrees. She, the Eggs Benedict, and me the Moules Frites (Mussels and Fries). Plus lots of Sourdough Bread for dipping purposes, of course.

As you know I am a fan of this place – here and here.

If you have NOT eaten here yet, go – now – immediately!
