Happy Christmas Eve!

Hope everyone is enjoying or will be enjoying a wonderful Christmas Eve with their loved ones tonight. 🙂

Since my mom is off to Palm Springs for a week to visit her side of the family bright and early tomorrow morning we decided to have our big Christmas celebration with her earlier this evening.

She came over this morning and had been cooking up a feast for us ever since we sat down to Christmas Eve dinner around 5pm.

Our (unconventional) Christmas Eve dinner menu:

  • Fried Oysters

  • Bacon and Mushroom Pasta – which Tommy and I cooked together (not pictured). Thanks dad for the recipe!
  • Angel Food cake with whipped cream, raspberry sauce, and fresh raspberries (not pictured)

Our beautiful holiday centerpiece mom bought for us a few days ago.

We also decided to open Christmas stockings and presents after dinner. Needless to say we all made out VERY nicely!

Mom – hope you have a safe flight tomorrow.

Tommy, Violet, and I are looking forward to a relaxing Christmas day together!  Enjoy yours!

What is your Christmas Eve tradition?
