Happy Friday folks!

I hope your day is going well. Today, like this week, has flown by for me and I, for one, am very happy it’s Friday. We have a pretty good weekend planned. Tomorrow we have an all-day childbirth class and then dinner with my mom and on Sunday Violet has a training session. then two of our friends and their dog are coming over for a play date and lunch, and then I have a bunch of errands to run (including some fun ones – but more on that later!) Dallas Baby Shower Recap

Good morning and Happy Monday folks!

I am back from a whirlwind, but amazing, fun and touching weekend in Dallas with my mom. As I mentioned on Friday, she and I were headed to Dallas this weekend for my (Ava’s) Dallas baby shower that my dear friend Katie was hosting at her house, and co-hosting with several of my other close friends. Happy Friday friends!

Even though it was technically only a three-day work week for me (with President’s Day off and our snow day on Tuesday) this work week has left me exhausted. Who knew so much could happen in just several days, lol. 🙂

Valentine’s Day Recap

I hope everyone had a happy Valentine’s and/or Galentine’s Day this past Saturday! Tommy and I had a pretty eventful day. 🙂

This year Valentine’s Day fell on a Saturday night, but instead of taking advantage of that, when deciding what to do this year I thought it’d be nice to do a Valentine’s Day lunch. My reasoning: a slightly cheaper menu, a slightly lesser crowd to deal with, and having more flexibility with our day and night for other plans. Continue reading
