Provision No. 14

Last night Tammy, Miki and I ate at Provision No. 14 for our September 14th Street  dinner.

I hadn’t yet heard of this place, but when Tammy sent around a review of the restaurant, we all decided we needed to go there immediately. We were not disappointed.

The restaurant space is pretty big (spacious and spread out). The ambiance seemed elegant rustic to me if that makes sense. Most importantly the food was delicious.

A couple of things to note: some of the dishes are rather pricey and while your waiter will encourage your table to order several small plates to share, the three us found that a “shareable plate” was satisfying for just one person to eat.

We each decided to order an appetizer.

Tammy ordered the Burrata.

Tammy ordered the the Burrata with condensed fruit and proscuitto.

While Miki ordered the Hot Pockets.

I chose the “Brussels” (Brussels sprouts) but forgot to take a picture of them. Doh!

For our main course we all ordered the same thing believe it or not.

Rigatoni Alla Romano (fresh-ground veal sausage, tomato, cream) It.was.incredible.

We all were in agreement that we’d definitely come back here again with each other, with our significant others, and with our babies. 🙂
