Cherry Blossoms Are Here!

It’s that time of year again! The Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom, D.C. is crowded with tourists and allergies are the death of many of us. 🙂

You may remember that one of the things I was excited about come Spring was taking Ava to see the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin. Well, my mom, Ava, and I did just that for a few hours today.

We found a killer parking lot steps away from the Tidal Basin – actually right by Tommy’s office. We walked a little bit before mom and I decided we were hungry, so mom bought hot dogs and French fries from a kiosk. While she was grabbing the grub, Ava and I found a nice shady spot under a cherry blossom tree for us to have a little picnic. Once we had all eaten (Ava enjoyed a bottle and some pieces of hot dog and fries!), we sauntered around taking in the sights and people. Here are some photos of our field trip!

A fun time was had by all!

Have you ever seen the Cherry Blossoms in D.C.?
