Have a Lovely 4th Weekend!

It’s Friday!

I began today with a wonderful yoga class at Mind the Mat. It definitely helped me get re-centered, a bit more relaxed and less anxious, and ready to take on the holiday weekend. 🙂

As mentioned before, Ava and I are flying to Atlanta to spend a couple of days with my brother’s family and my mom (who has been in Atlanta for the past 2 weeks). I can’t wait to introduce Ava to her newest cousin, Liam.

Finally, please send happy, positive thoughts and prayers my way as I tackle flying with Ava SOLO tomorrow morning. I’m sure we’ll be fine…!

Hope you have a fantastic 4th of July weekend. Stay safe. See you on Tuesday!

On Wednesday night Tammy, Miki, Christina, and I dined at Barcelona in honor of Miki’s last 14th Street dinner with us. She and her sweet family are moving to the Denver area later this month. 😦 Not to worry, whenever she is in town we’ll schedule that particular month’s dinner around her visit. You may remember we’ve eaten here before, but we let Miki choose any restaurant she wanted to go to for her last hoorah and she chose to go back here. Continue reading

Get Change – In Memory of Chris Moore

Today my husband, Tommy, is taking the reins and is guest-posting today after a 3+ year hiatus to discuss someone who influenced and motivated him as an athlete and individual.

It is with great sadness to report the sudden passing of Chris Moore of Barbell Buddha, Barbell Shrugged and Ironheart Studios. Continue reading
