Have a Lovely 4th Weekend!

It’s Friday!

I began today with a wonderful yoga class at Mind the Mat. It definitely helped me get re-centered, a bit more relaxed and less anxious, and ready to take on the holiday weekend. 🙂

As mentioned before, Ava and I are flying to Atlanta to spend a couple of days with my brother’s family and my mom (who has been in Atlanta for the past 2 weeks). I can’t wait to introduce Ava to her newest cousin, Liam.

Finally, please send happy, positive thoughts and prayers my way as I tackle flying with Ava SOLO tomorrow morning. I’m sure we’ll be fine…!

Tuesday Tidbits – 151

Good muggy, humid Tuesday morning from the DMV area! Despite the weather I am pleased to report that I banged out a 4-mile run a few minutes ago. Not going to lie, I was thisclose to pushing it off until this evening – and then probably pushing it to tomorrow. So glad I didn’t.

Happy Monday!

Hope your weekend was lovely. Ours was a busy weekend that included an Ava and Mommy run Saturday morning, a family picnic hosted by Tommy’s company for all of their employees and families, and lots of water fun for Ava on Sunday with two of her friends.

Have you ever heard of thredUP? It describes itself as the largest online and consignment thrift store for women and children. While I have sent in gently used clothes of mine to sell to thredUP a couple of times, I hadn’t purchased anything from thredUP until recently when I realized Ava was in need of some cute summer clothes!
